Denmark Sends Largest Business Delegation to Kyiv Since Full-Scale Invasion

On 2 March 2026, Kyiv hosted a Ukraine–Denmark business forum, bringing the largest Danish business delegation since the full-scale invasion: 38 companies, alongside about 300 Ukrainian participants from business, associations, and the public sector. Organizers said the goal was to deepen cooperation and launch joint projects. Officials highlighted Denmark’s support and the role of the Denmark Export and Investment Fund (EIFO), including 24 transactions worth €440 million and risk-mitigation tools supporting energy- and defense-related investments.

Google Exposes 23-Flaw iOS Attack Toolkit Linked to Russian Intelligence

Google’s Threat Intelligence Group reported a set of iOS vulnerabilities dubbed “Coruna,” comprising five attack chains and 23 flaws that could enable device compromise across iOS versions 13.0 to 17.2.1. Google said it first detected parts of the toolkit in February 2025 and later observed its use in campaigns linked to Russian intelligence groups targeting websites visited by Ukrainian users. Google added that iOS versions after 17.2.1 include fixes and advised updating devices.

Defense-Tech Startup UForce Raises $50M at $1B+ Valuation

Defense-technology firm UForce, registered in the UK and co-founded by former Ukrainian prime minister Oleksii Honcharuk and People.ai founder Oleh Rogynskyy, announced a $50 million seed round led by Shield Capital and Lakestar, with Ballistic Ventures participating. The company said the financing implies a valuation of more than $1 billion. UForce describes itself as an operator that aggregates and scales battle-tested Ukrainian autonomous systems, including Magura unmanned surface vessels, aerial strike drones, ground robots, and related software.

Zelenskyy Pledges Counter-Drone Specialists to Middle East Partners

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukrainian specialists will travel to the Middle East to help regional partners counter Iranian loitering munitions, while ensuring Ukraine’s own defense is not weakened. He reported consultations with European and U.S. partners and talks with the UAE, Qatar, Jordan, and Bahrain, with further talks planned. Zelenskyy tasked officials to define support options and delivery formats. Separate reporting noted the UK is considering involving Ukrainian experts; specific arrangements have not been announced.

U.S.–Ukraine Investment Fund Builds $1.2B Initial Portfolio

Ukraine’s Economy, Environment, and Agriculture Ministry reported that the American–Ukrainian Investment Fund selected 22 projects for further development in its first two months. Eight projects are described as investment-ready and form an initial portfolio estimated at about $1.2 billion. The fund received 138 applications via an investment portal, mainly in energy and energy security (53), transport and logistics (14), critical minerals (10), and advanced technologies (7), plus one in digital and telecom infrastructure. The fund also updated its website to streamline submissions.

Ukraine Receives $1.5B First Tranche Under New $8.1B IMF Program

Ukraine received $1.5 billion - the first disbursement under a new four-year IMF Extended Fund Facility (EFF) approved on 26 February 2026, the Finance Ministry said. The funds have entered the state budget and will support priority spending and macrofinancial stability during the ongoing war. The EFF totals $8.1 billion for 2026–2029 and reflects updated economic and security conditions. Finance Minister Serhii Marchenko said the first program review is expected in June 2026 and noted planned reforms, including stronger revenue mobilization and anti-evasion measures.

Ukraine Expects Additional Mirage 2000-5 Deliveries from France

Ukraine expects an additional delivery of Mirage 2000-5 fighter jets from France, the Defense Ministry said on 4 March. The ministry described the aircraft as multirole fourth-generation fighters with digital avionics, modern radar, and electronic warfare systems, suitable for intercepting cruise missiles and Shahed-type attack drones. It said the jets can use NATO-standard weapons, including Storm Shadow/SCALP missiles and AASM Hammer guided bombs. France delivered the first Mirages in early 2025, after Ukrainian pilots had trained there.

Ukrainian AI Startup Superapp Raises $1.6M to Build No-Code iOS Platform

Ukrainian startup Superapp has raised $1.6 million in a pre-seed round, with participation from venture funds Flyer One Ventures, Silicon Gardens, HEARTFELT_, StratMinds, and Vesna Capital, as well as angel investors. Founded in 2025 by CEO Vitalii Kotik (ex-Bolt) and CTO Stanislav Prokopiv (ex-Grammarly), the company is building an AI-based no-code platform that generates Swift code, enabling non-technical users to create iOS and Mac apps and prepare them for App Store release.

Donor Grants to Ukraine's Energy Fund Hit €1.85B

Ukraine’s Energy Support Fund received €208.8 million in grant contributions in February from Norway, Ireland, the Netherlands, Australia, and Sweden, the Energy Ministry reported. Additional commitments were recorded, including expected inflows of €2.8 million from Iceland and €0.5 million from Slovenia, as well as announced contributions of €12.4 million from Canada and €1.5 million from Croatia. Through the fund’s mechanism, contracts for critical equipment worth about €20.1 million were signed in February, and earlier contracts delivered equipment worth about €1.5 million. Total grants to the fund have reached nearly €1.849 billion.
