Ukraine Explores Investment Growth Strategies

Leading scientists presented three key research studies to Ukraine's Ministry of Economy aimed at boosting investment and domestic production. Over 100 experts attended the Scientific Platform meeting. Studies focused on transport liberalization (potentially increasing GDP by 0.5-2.5 percentage points), digital product passports for industrial goods to enhance EU export compliance, and electricity generation decentralization through recovery systems. Transport cost reduction of 10% could increase exports by 12-15%, generating approximately 72 billion hryvnias additionally. Digital passports would improve transparency and sustainability standards for European markets.

Zelensky Addresses UN General Assembly

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke at the UN General Assembly on September 24, stating that international law fails without influential allies and weapons. He argued that nations seeking peace must arm themselves, as "weapons decide who survives." Zelensky warned that Russia's war against Ukraine is just the beginning, citing previous Russian actions in Georgia and Belarus. He highlighted the rapid development of autonomous drones and artificial intelligence in warfare, proposing Ukraine's drone technology for export.

Ukrainian Drone Company Raises $1M

Ukrainian company NORDA Dynamics, which develops drone control systems, secured $1 million in investment led by Swedish company Varangians, founded in 2025. Additional funding came from Ukrainian funds Angel One, MITS Capital, United Angels Network, and American fund Unpopular VC. Founded in 2024, NORDA creates autonomous drone management systems that operate without GPS, traditional communication channels, and under electronic warfare conditions. Their main products include the Underdog module for autonomous flight and StableLink stabilization system.

Croatian DOK-ING Increases Ukraine Production

Croatian demining equipment manufacturer DOK-ING has increased its production localization in Ukraine to 30%, planning to reach 50% by 2026. The company will begin manufacturing armored machine bodies and components locally. Over the past year, DOK-ING and partner A3Tech assembled eight demining machines and produced 3,600 spare parts in Ukraine, creating 72 jobs and training over 300 operators. Currently, 69 DOK-ING machines operate across 10 Ukrainian regions, clearing over 25 million square meters and neutralizing more than 10,000 explosive devices. Ukraine requires $29.8 billion for complete demining operations.

Ukrainian Hackers Target Russian Payment System

Ukrainian military intelligence cyber specialists successfully attacked Russia's national fast payment system "SBP," paralyzing its operations. The large-scale DDOS attack targeted infrastructure used to finance organizations supporting aggression against Ukraine. The attack affected the SBP system and TransTeleCom provider, preventing many Russians from making instant transfers and online payments. Ukrainian intelligence estimates economic damages at approximately $30 million.
