I-SEE Unveils AI-Based Distributed Network for Drone Detection

Ukrainian defense-tech project I-SEE introduced a concept for a distributed early-warning network designed to detect unmanned aerial vehicles using Edge AI algorithms. The system analyzes video streams from connected USB, RTSP, or IP cameras in real time, enabling detection of drones as small as four pixels in the frame while tracking up to 100 targets simultaneously with claimed accuracy above 95%. The architecture relies on a network of detection nodes deployed every 1.5–2 km, creating a continuous monitoring barrier that can provide military units 60–90 seconds of additional response time. The software runs on standard laptops or PCs already used by units, with entry-level deployments starting at approximately ₴45,000–50,000 ($1.1K–$1.3K) using commercial-off-the-shelf hardware.

Ukrainian Military Team Wins NATO AI Hackathon with Intelligence Analysis System

A Ukrainian team from the Military Institute of Telecommunications and Information Technologies won first place at the NATO TIDE Hackathon 2026 in Iceland, competing against 33 teams from more than 15 NATO countries. The team developed ODIN, a prototype multi-agent AI system designed to analyze intelligence data and prioritize targets for military decision-making. The platform aggregates data from multiple sources, filters it, and produces a prioritized list of targets via an interactive web-based interface, enabling commanders to shorten analysis and planning cycles in real time. The project was recognized as the top solution in the Automated Intelligence Fusion and Analysis Informed Targeting challenge and may be further developed under the NATO Next Generation Targeting initiative.
