Biography
Tony Grey is a seasoned Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) with extensive experience in building and leading global cybersecurity programs and working with the unique cyber and privacy needs of family offices and high net worth individuals. He has developed cyber and privacy frameworks that act as guardrails that manage cyber risks and align with how high net worth families live, work, travel, and spend their leisure time. He has held key roles, including CISO and V.P. of Technical Operations at Hagerty for five years including leading both the cyber and IT teams through their NYSE IPO notably with no significant findings. He built Hagerty’s security program over five years ensuring internal resiliency and regulatory compliance with NY State DFS Regulation 500, multiple security frameworks, and across numerous geographic regions including the EU's GDPR.. He has also served as the vCISO for Athletic Greens/AG1, where he led enterprise-wide cyber risk and privacy improvements, implemented strategic security frameworks, and operationalized privacy into EU and China business operations. His career spans tech leadership positions at Motorola, Microsoft, and Guidance Software, focusing on improving application security, security operations, compliance, and incident response. Business fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, Tony is a frequent speaker at international cybersecurity events.
