Switzerland Funds 12 Recovery Projects in Ukraine

Switzerland has selected 12 company-led projects worth over 93 million Swiss francs to support Ukraine’s recovery under the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) program. Initiatives include modular housing for displaced persons, railway and energy infrastructure upgrades, solar power plants, educational facility modernization, demining equipment repairs, medical infrastructure, and oncology treatment. Backed projects begin in autumn 2025, creating jobs and boosting resilience.

Ramstein 30: Partners Boost Ukraine Defense Support

The 30th “Ramstein” meeting confirmed increased and ongoing international support for Ukraine’s defense. Key agreements include large-scale ammunition deliveries from the EU, new air defenses from Germany, long-range drones funded by the UK and Germany, joint production projects, and robust training and industry investment. Countries such as Norway, Canada, Sweden, and others announced multi-billion euro and dollar packages. NATO’s role in coordinating allied support is expected to grow, reinforcing Ukraine’s defense capabilities.

Sweden Sends $836 Million Defense Package

On September 11, Sweden announced its 20th military aid package to Ukraine, totaling $836 million. The package includes 18 new Archer self-propelled artillery systems, 155mm ammunition, mobile coastal radar, boats with grenade launchers, and unmanned maritime systems. It also provides upgrades for previously supplied combat boats, motorcycles, base support vehicles, sensors for air defense systems, programmable 40mm ammunition, contributions to international coalitions, and undisclosed systems and projects for Ukraine’s future defense needs.

UK to Mass-Produce Ukrainian Interceptor Drones

The UK will begin large-scale production of interceptor drones, developed by Ukraine with British support, under the OCTOPUS project. These drones, proven effective against Russian Shahed drones, are cheaper than traditional air defense missiles. Production aims to deliver thousands monthly for Ukraine’s needs. In addition, Ukrainian drone manufacturer Ukrspecsystems will invest in a new factory in the UK, which will include testing and training centers.

Ukrainian Government Approves 12-Priority Action Plan

On September 10, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a government action plan with 12 key priorities and submitted it to parliament. The program focuses on security, economic growth, dignity, and reconstruction, detailing steps in defense, Eurointegration, anti-corruption, welfare, veteran support, fiscal reforms, business, education, healthcare, recovery, winter stability, and culture. It defines 129 goals for 2025, enabling transparent progress tracking and resource allocation aligned with national reform objectives.

Ministry Launches National AI Platform as Single Window for Initiatives

The Ministry of Digital Transformation unveiled Ukraine's first state AI platform (ai.gov.ua), consolidating all government AI projects, documents, and opportunities. Led by Deputy Minister Oleksandr Borniakov, the platform serves as a unified access point for businesses, state organizations, educational institutions, and international partners. The initiative supports Ukraine's goal to rank among the world's top three AI development countries by 2030 and includes access to the regulatory sandbox program for AI and blockchain companies.

Liki24 Expands to UK Market

Ukrainian medicine delivery platform Liki24 launched operations in the United Kingdom, its first market outside the EU. Within a month, the UK became one of the company’s top four European markets by revenue, with strong demand and frequent repeat orders. Fast air delivery, completing shipments within 1–2 days, proved especially popular. Liki24 previously served over 2.5 million users and partnered with 13,000 sellers across Ukraine and Europe.
