France Sends Missiles and Armored Vehicles
France will provide Ukraine with €2 billion in military aid, including MICA air-to-air missiles for Mirage 2000 jets, MILAN anti-tank missiles, Mistral air-defense missiles, and armored vehicles like the AMX-10RC and VAB. The package includes ammo and joint production plans with Ukrainian defense firms.
Netherlands Pledges €65M Energy Support
The Netherlands will contribute €65 million to Ukraine’s Energy Support Fund, aiding urgent repair efforts ahead of winter. Officials also discussed equipment needs, especially for gas infrastructure under attack, and expanding cooperation on renewable and distributed energy.
Ukraine and Czechia Strengthen Strategic Ties
Ukraine and the Czech Republic declared a comprehensive strategic partnership, reaffirming mutual support in defense, reconstruction, EU and NATO integration, and international justice. The joint statement outlines enhanced cooperation in security, economy, energy, defense industry, civil society, and combating disinformation, with a permanent consultation mechanism established between the two presidential offices.
Ukraine, EU Review Integration Progress
Ukraine’s Ministry of Economy participated in the 8th EU-Ukraine Association Committee meeting, reporting reform progress and outlining 2025 goals. Discussions covered defense, economy, and rule of law cooperation. The EU praised Ukraine’s reform efforts and Ukraine Facility implementation. Kyiv emphasized the importance of investment attraction and continued legal harmonization with EU standards.
Russia Reverses Ariston Seizure
Russia has reversed the nationalization of Ariston’s local subsidiary, marking the first rollback of asset seizures from a foreign company. The move follows pressure from Italy and EU criticism over violations of international law. In April 2024, a decree transferred 100% of Ariston’s Russian unit and Bosch’s local subsidiary to Gazprom Household Systems. While Ariston regains control, Bosch’s Russian assets remain nationalized.
