Biography

Josh Burmeister joined Presage Global as a Managing Director in 2024, bringing over 20 years of experience in training management and instructional design across both public and private sectors. He specializes in developing and executing comprehensive training programs for security personnel, elite protective teams, and government agencies.

Josh’s career includes serving as a Navy Chief SERE Instructor and Curriculum Developer, where he designed advanced Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape programs for military and government personnel. He also founded and managed a national training company, conducting over 120 courses annually and training more than 4,000 students. 

His expertise spans high-level training, security operations, and curriculum development.

In addition to his military and civilian training roles, Josh has contributed to classified security programs for the U.S. government, ensuring the safety and preparedness of personnel in high-risk environments. His operational background includes deployments in non-permissive areas, where he provided security for Intelligence Community operations.
